In collaboration with Irish Artists for Palestine (IAFP), PalMusic UK and the ESNCM, the Daughters of Jerusalem (DoJ), a 35-piece all-female youth choir and music ensemble, will tour Ireland and the UK for the first time. The purpose of the Tour is to promote Palestinian culture by showcasing young Palestinian musicians as a voice for hope and peace, to support the cost of ESNCM’s ongoing music scholarships and education programmes throughout Palestine and the UK, and the music education outreach programmes in refugee camps across the areas most affected by the bombing – Gaza, Al-Shati, Rafah, Jabalia, Jenin, Bureji, Al-Nuseirat , Khan Younis, Maghazi and Deir El-Balah.
