Director Gillian has met and worked with many supporters through Britain Palestine Project events and screenings, and now invites your support for her latest film.

In recent years, it has become increasingly difficult for Western documentary makers to secure funding for subjects considered by the mainstream to be “too difficult” — with Palestine and Israel among the most affected. Undeterred, Gillian has completed a new film, Planet Israel, a follow-up to her 2022 documentary The Tinderbox. As with her previous work, the aim is to inform, engage, and inspire meaningful change.

The team is now preparing for an online release in the United States and a cinema run in the UK. However, in order to move forward, they must cover the remaining archive costs (£8,500) and final insurance (£3,000).

To support this next stage, an online preview screening and Q&A has been organised as a fundraiser to help bring the film to audiences.

Accessibility remains a priority, with a flexible ticket pricing model that allows those who can to contribute more, helping ensure the event remains open to all.

A live Q&A will follow the screening, offering audiences the opportunity to engage directly and have their questions answered.

Gillian extends her heartfelt thanks for the support and looks forward to welcoming as many people as possible to the screening.
