The Britain Palestine Project is delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Livesey as the new Chair of our Board of Trustees.
Tim succeeds Andrew Whitley, whose leadership has guided the organisation through a period of significant growth, professionalisation and increasing impact. Paying tribute to his successor, Andrew said:
“I am absolutely delighted by the Board’s unanimous decision to appoint Tim Livesey as my successor as Chair of the Board of Trustees. He has all the personal qualities and experience required to take our charity to the next level. The coming period will be crucial for the realisation of Palestinian rights, today in grave peril.”
Responding to his appointment, Tim said:
“I am stepping into big shoes, not without trepidation… It’s an honour to be part of that effort for change. Recognition is only a first step on a much longer road to justice, equality and a definitive end to violence and expropriation.”
Everyone at the Britain Palestine Project warmly welcomes Tim to this new role. We look forward to working with him as we continue to advance informed public debate, uphold international law and human rights, and contribute to a just and lasting peace for Palestinians and Israelis alike.
