
Dr Brian Brivati – Executive Director
Brian was appointed in January 2025 to lead the organisation’s work advocating for peace with justice and equality for Palestinians and Israelis. An historian specialising in the modern British Labour Party and genocide studies, he combines academic expertise with extensive experience in public policy and human rights. He has undertaken fieldwork across the Middle East, Africa and Ukraine, leading capacity-building initiatives and supporting civil society development.

Ujala Syed – Fundraising and Administrative Executive Assistant
Ujala plays a central role in supporting the organisation’s fundraising development, financial administration and organisational duties. She manages donor systems and financial records, supports the Board of Trustees, and helps coordinate fundraising initiatives with the Executive Director. Ujala brings years of fundraising and administrative experience from the nonprofit and scientific sector both in the UK and internationally, with a keen interest in advancing informed public and policy engagement on Palestine through advocacy, education, and strategic fundraising.

Diana Safieh – Part-time Coordinator
Diana Safieh has managed Operations and Events for companies and charities for over 15 years. Diana has spent much of her life in the charity sector, fundraising for humanitarian and development projects in Palestine. She has worked in events and fundraising for St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital, Galilee Foundation and Welfare Association. She has been invested as a member of the Order of St John for her contribution to the charitable sector. Diana obtained a BA in Environment and Society from Kings College, London and an MSc in Sustainable Development.

Eibhlin Priestley – Education Officer
As Education Officer, Eibhlin is currently co-developing a KS3 scheme of work on the history of Mandatory Palestine, due to be launched nationally in summer 2026. She is a PhD Candidate at the University of Cambridge working on a social and economic history of the Syro-Lebanese community in 20th century Sudan. Prior to this she held roles in communications, research and education for institutions including the EUI, the Italian Ministry of Public Education, the Arab Studies Institute and the University of Sussex.
